Bill Greaves

CERAMIC ARTIST

Bill Greaves is a ceramic artist based in Prince Edward County and Toronto.  Bill focuses primarily on hand-built vessels.  With layered surfaces and irregular forms, his work references complexities that develop over multiple timescales—the slowness of coiling and scraping, the sudden melting and hidden transformations in the kiln, and the geologic longevity of the vitrified result.
