“I am a multi-disciplinary artist, inspired by materials, skills, and experiences gathered from diverse interactions. My work focuses on in-between spaces like empty fields, alleys, and vacant lots, where seemingly random objects and their stories come to life. In Time and Dirt, I explore the hidden narratives within these spaces.Recently, I’ve ventured into sculpture, reflecting my own journey through spaces, collecting experiences and expanding my creative inventory. My art revolves around the seemingly random interactions between objects, time, and place. I meticulously collect collaging materials and “found objects,” working intimately with my tools to explore the material’s physicality, creating fluid, intuitive artworks. This commitment to intention and care extends to my work at Blue Wheelbarrow Farm, where I sow seeds and prepare planting beds, knowing they’ll nourish my community. This shared relationship between farming and art deepens my connection to both practices, fostering a sense of care and community that defines my creative journey.”
