Our first group exhibition of the season, Renewal features an eclectic group of Canadian artists. Grounded in ideas of growth, transition, and new beginnings, each of the pieces included in the show has been carefully selected for its relevance to these themes. In Spring, the ice thaws and new life springs up everywhere the sun touches. As nature wakes up, so do we, entering into new stages of life. Each year, Melt Studio + Gallery opens our season with the Renewal group juried art exhibition. Find a renewed sense of hope after a long winter in our Renewal exhibition.

Please join us for our public opening reception on Saturday, May 18 from 1–4 pm.

The show will run from May 17–June 23, 2024 in our main gallery space. The gallery is open Friday–Sunday from 11 am–5pm. Any other open hours are by appointment or chance.

About the Main Gallery

About the Main Gallery

The main gallery primarily showcases the work of Canadian encaustic artist Susan Wallis. Over the last 20 years of working in the encaustic medium, Susan has developed a unique, recognizable style that she applies to her interpretation of the natural world.

Periodically, Susan shares the gallery space with other artists through hosting group and solo shows by Canadian artists. Shows are curated by Susan along with her staff. Inviting many different artists and artisans to the space adds an eclectic mixture of mediums and a new dimension to the gallery experience.
